Rules of Behavior

Our goal is to provide a welcoming atmosphere where those of all ages can all feel safe while learning and having fun. Please help us achieve that goal by following the guidelines below.

1) Remember consent! Ask for a dance and respect all answers, even if that answer is "no."

2) Keep the dance dance floor safe! Dips and small tricks are ok, but be aware of others around you and dance at your partner's level.

3) See someone off by themselves? Ask them to dance! Dancing with new people is how we grow and learn.

4) Communication is key! If something doesn't feel right, say something.

5) Switch it up! If you're a lead, try following. If you're a follower, try leading. Reversing roles can help your dance connection.

6) The dance floor is for dancing! We may want to help correct our partner, but please leave teaching to the instructors.

7) Unless the instructor gives permission, please do not record lessons.

Safety Reminders: Food and beverage should be kept off the dance floor. Spills and obstacles can cause injuries. If you see anything suspicious or are made to feel uncomfortable, please report it to staff right away. Everything will be handled discreetly with your safety in mind.
